Wise Music Group / Edition Peters Group 

Edition Peters / Wise Music Group, Music Publisher and Distributor established in 1800s, engaged in an 18 month consulting phase. Focussed primarily as CFO of the EPG group, we took responsible for all things finance, from budgeting, system migration and data analysis, through to modelling and growth and strategy – for the New York, Leipzig and London offices. Working with The Cauldron – Where Technology meets experiences, delivered through Hospitality venues (500,000 tickets sold so far, bringing in revenue of £20m+ in the last 4 years), our remit being the strategic and long term strategic support of Finance and a focus on the Investment raise. As Business Advisor at RedCloud Technology – Simon led the fundraising in 2020 of £3.9m and restructured the business and operations for the UK, Nigeria, and Argentina. Redcloud deliver Payment Gateway / Banking Technology. And we Moved them through the gears of start-up to scale by overseeing their Marketing team and strategic implementation. In 2016, Simon joined the Berlin based Techstar / Metro Accelerator program, as Co-Founder of a Hospitality Restaurant Software App, raising funding, creating, and building out the product in iOS and Web. As well as driving the Marketing and Sales plans. This was a highly commercial role driving the product development side as COO / CFO / CPO, as well as meeting and pitching to over 200 investors during the 3-month accelerator process, during which £125k was secured from Metro Retail and Techstar investors. 

TOPLCup – Strategic Adviser to this Manufacturing and E-commerce Retail business– brought in to raise funding and work to optimise Marketing spend and analyse attribution. Successfully supported and raised funding since Jan 2021. (https://toplcup.com/)

As the CFO for Touchnote – an £8m a year, Postcard Software Technology / SaaS company (iOS, Android, and Web). Under my tenure as CFO, I was an integral part of securing millions of £’s of investor funding – as the number 2 to the CEO, and managing a team of 6 across Operations (Supply Chain management), Finance and HR. My role expanded into Identifying and executing expansion opportunities in terms of territories and charged me with identifying and engaging with external partnership /B2B opportunities. Molewood Consulting have been working with Nyetimber, who are one of the largest Sparkling Wine companies in Britain since 2014. Our Technology manages every bottle of wine from Tank to Customer.
